The Mission of Flint Southwestern Classical Academy

We are committed to preparing our scholars to participate in a global society actively, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and empathy needed to navigate and contribute to an interconnected world. Through our inquiry-based learning approach, outreach to diverse learners, and emphasis on tolerance and respect, we strive to develop well-rounded individuals ready to make a positive impact locally and globally.
School
Flint Southwestern Classical Academy (FSCA) is an authorized International Baccalaureate World School in the Flint Community School district. Our diverse student population comprises scholars from all areas of the city of Flint, as well as from surrounding school districts and communities within Genesee County. Our scholars include a number of bilingual students whose native languages include Spanish and Arabic.
Additionally, over the past years, FSCA has hosted and educated up to 12 foreign exchange students representing the countries of Germany, China, Japan, and Spain.
