Good afternoon! For January the Flint Community Schools School Wellness Program (SWP) nurses want to increase awareness of the health condition of asthma. Asthma is a common health condition. Around 25 million Americans are diagnosed with asthma. One in eleven school aged children are affected by asthma. Asthma is a condition that can be well managed by working with a doctor and following the treatment plan that they prescribe.
