Dear Staff and Parents,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Freeman Elementary. It is an honor to join such a dedicated and vibrant community, and I am eager to work together to ensure the continued success and growth of our students.

With a background in education spanning over 18 years, I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups of students, educators, and families. My experiences have taught me the importance of fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive. I am committed to maintaining the high standards of excellence that Freeman Elementary is known for, while also bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to our school.

As we embark on this new journey together, I am excited to focus on three key areas:

1. Creating a Safe and Welcoming Environment: Ensuring that every student, staff member, and parent feels safe and valued is my top priority. We will work together to build a community where everyone feels respected and supported.

2. Establishing a Positive Climate and Culture: A positive school climate and culture are essential for student success. I am committed to fostering an environment where kindness, respect, and collaboration are at the forefront of everything we do.

3. Increasing Academic Readiness: Preparing our students for academic success is a shared responsibility. We will implement strategies and programs that support academic growth and readiness, ensuring that every student has the tools they need to succeed.

I believe that open communication and strong partnerships between the school and families are key to our success. I encourage you to share your thoughts, ideas, and concerns with me, as your input is invaluable in shaping the future of our school.
